For my first real post I am going to discuss something that you will not see on this blog very often…what to buy for the man in your life. My man happens to be uber manly, and wouldn’t be caught dead in many of the items on the gift guides for men I see floating around the blogosphere. Sorry but true.  However, I have here a few items that even the manliest of men would {hopefully} appreciate.

A {Southern} Proper tie | Dopp Kit | Maps | Razor Holder {genius!} | Whiskey Cubes

My manly man is a financial advisor by day and, therefore, ties are a necessity. So why not make his tie a little more personal with by putting a tuna on it? Duh.  I love Southern Proper for their multitude of southern themed ties.

Every man needs a dopp kit. A supple leather with a monogram is a classic option.

My man LOVES a map. There are several atlases beside our toilet for him to peruse in his…um..down time. These watercolor renditions of anywhere you want are a great way to mix art and function.

Razor holder. Self explanatory. And makes a whole lotta sense.

Whiskey Cubes. What man wants to water down his whiskey/bourbon?? Mine probably needs to, but this is a genius idea for the man who sips rather than gulps his brown water.
